Casa Huertas del Palmar lies in Barranco del Pino, within Doramas Rural Park, surrounded by mature Canary laurels and other species typical of the laurel forest. The emblematic Canarian Drago also stands out among the vegetation, adding to the natural and distinctive character of the setting.
This territory preserves the memory of the ancient Selva de Doramas, the vast humid subtropical forest that once covered much of the north of the island and was named after the indigenous warrior Doramas. Laurel forest, a cloud forest of laurels, til trees, viñátigos, barbusanos, fayas and other species, still survives in valuable remnants such as Los Tilos de Moya, Azuaje and Barranco Oscuro.
The Osorio Estate is very close to the property. It is one of the most representative natural areas of Teror, with more than 200 hectares of paths, chestnut trees, farmland and areas where the laurel forest is being restored. Guests can enjoy this natural setting while remaining only a few minutes from the historic centre of Teror.
The property offers approximately 200 m² including the house and its outdoor areas. It has two bedrooms, a living and dining room, an equipped kitchen, one full bathroom, air conditioning and heating throughout the house, a Canarian patio, chill-out area, private covered hot tub, gardens and a barbecue area with an outdoor kitchen.
The Canarian patio is the central feature of the islands’ traditional architecture. It connects the different rooms of the house and provides a bright, sheltered place for breakfast, reading or enjoying the outdoors.

The main bedroom features a bed more than 100 years old, handcrafted from Canarian pine heartwood, traditionally known as tea wood. This historic piece gives the room a distinctive and authentic character.
